Annual fee plan
| Particulars | HSN/SAC | Amount |
|---|---|---|
| Tuition fee, term 2 | 9992 | ₹45,000 |
| Early payment discount | — | −₹2,500 |
| Taxable value | — | ₹42,500 |
| CGST @ 9% | — | ₹3,825 |
| SGST @ 9% | — | ₹3,825 |
| Total received | ₹50,150 | |
Taxable coaching fees print the CGST and SGST split, as here. Where a fee head is exempt, the receipt prints the Notification 12/2017-CT (Rate) note instead. You set the treatment per fee head, and your own GSTIN sits on the receipt.
Fee management, step by step
- 01
Set up the fee plan
Define a fee plan and connect it to each student's account. Instalments make the payment schedule explicit, so the team has dates and amounts to work from instead of a single total in a spreadsheet.
- 02
Record collections against the account
Use the collection ledger to follow payments and outstanding balances. When a payment is recorded, the student account and receipt workflow stay connected to the same fee record.
- 03
Share the receipt and review dues
Generate receipts with your institute's configured details. Parents see fees due in their portal, and scheduled reminders can support follow-up through your connected messaging provider.
A fee workflow your office can review
Instalments, discounts and late fees
Support different collection schedules with per-student fee accounts. Percentage or fixed-value discount codes include validity and usage controls. Late-fee rules support a grace period and a maximum cap.
Receipts with your institute's details
Configure your GSTIN, receipt prefix, numbering and footer. GST-format receipts show the configured treatment for fee heads. Review your tax settings and receipt requirements with your accountant during setup.
Payments through your account
Online payment collection connects to your Razorpay account. Provider approval and transaction charges apply separately, and settlements go directly to your bank. We help verify the account setup during onboarding.
Records you can take with you
Institute admins can export fee data as CSV for review outside CoachOS. Fees also appear alongside attendance, results and announcements in the parent experience, reducing the need to combine updates manually.
Bring one example fee plan to your demo
Bring a sample fee spreadsheet and a receipt with personal details removed. We will review account mapping, outstanding amounts and the migration scope before importing your records. Subscription pricing and separate provider charges are listed on the pricing page.
- Map a student's instalment dates and amounts to a fee account.
- Record a sample collection and review the remaining balance.
- Inspect the receipt fields with your office or accountant.
- Check what parents can see and how fee data is exported.
Questions about fee management
Can we manage instalment-based coaching fees?
Yes. CoachOS supports fee plans, per-student accounts, instalments and a collection ledger, so the team can review payment schedules and outstanding balances together.
Does CoachOS support GST-format fee receipts?
Yes. You can configure institute details, GSTIN, numbering and the tax treatment of fee heads. Confirm the appropriate settings with your accountant; receipt formatting does not determine whether a fee is taxable.
Are payment gateway charges included in the subscription?
No. Razorpay's charges apply separately to your own payment account. CoachOS subscription prices and other separate costs are explained on the pricing page.
